This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So the Halo armor is on hold for the moment, after working on several test versions for scaling with paper armor.
I'm going to work on the Judge Gabranth Armor I've been wanting to do since before Otakon last year. I just started sketching and figuring out scale/dimensions for a paper layout. Will be posting pictures of progress within the next week.
The hardest part will be the helmet. I wish I had a 3d model of the armor/helmet, that would make things easier. Since I virtually have no skills at 3d modeling, I'll be doing it by hand like everything else I've ever built. After the paper layout to my scaled dimensions, I'll cut out plastic sheet versions and start from there with fiberglass. From there I'll have the frame before I bondo the pieces and sand, sand, sand till everything is smooth. The body armor should be alot easier than the helmet so I'm sure I'll finish that in no time. My estimate is to spend 2-3 months on the helmet and about a month on the body armor. As for the cape, that should be easy.
Already have most of the materials ready. Bondo, Fiberglass cloth and Resin, Plastic sheets, Card stock paper. I'll worry about spray paint and primer/finish after I get everything moving.
If anyone has 3D modeling skills, I would love to collaborate to create a serious Detailed 3D Model of Gabranth for Pepakura. Contact me if interested.
